Lancaster makes temporary changes to meetings; revises proposed budget

LANCASTER—Lancaster supervisors on April 1 held a special called meeting to devise a plan for moving forward with public meetings so they can continue to govern and conduct business.

With county attorney James Cornwell citing “the welfare of the governing body and all attendees” along with the declarations of emergency at the state and county level, the board unanimously passed an ordinance allowing the county to temporarily hold real-time meetings electronically, available online or by telephone.
