LHS soccer team earns second win

The Lancaster High School varsity soccer team on March 29 shut out King & Queen, 8-0.

The Red Devils are now 2-1 with wins over Mathews and King & Queen. After taking this week off for spring break, LHS will play Middlesex Monday, April 10, in Saluda.

Stewart Hollingsworth and Porter Pittman teamed up to score the first two goals for Lancaster. Hollingsworth scored both opening goals on assists from Pittman. One came at the eight-minute mark and another, a header, at the 13-minute mark.
