LHS wrestling team prepares for postseason

Lancaster placed eighth among 18 teams and had six medalists at the 28th annual Warriors Invitational last weekend at Henrico High School. 

Hunter Sebra and Alex Posey won silver medals to lead the Red Devils.

Sebra had two pins to finish as the runner-up in the 144 pound weight class and Posey took second in the 285 weight class. Despite being the lightest heavyweight in the tournament, Posey also had two pins to advance to the finals. 

AP Pollard placed fourth at 175 pounds and “overcame a tough match early, coming back from an eight-point deficit to pin his opponent,” said LHS coach Craig Oren….
