Chesapeake Academy (CA) head librarian Susan May recently hosted a Mock Ezra Jack Keats Award competition in the James Library.
The real Ezra Jack Keats Award was created to nurture writers and illustrators early in their careers who create extraordinary books that reflect the universal experience of childhood and the strength of family and community in our diverse population, said head of school Julianne T. Duvall.
