FREDERICKSBURG—Lloyd E. Scott Jr., 93, of Fredericksburg died February 18, 2020, at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 24, 1926.
Lloyd was a World War II Navy veteran and the last remaining charter member of the Historic Fredericksburg Region Antique Auto Club of America, charter member and deacon of Friendship Baptist Church and charter member of Belle Plain Boat Club.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Christopher Scott; son, Paul; daughter, Pamela Covil; and grandson, Ryan Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd E. Scott Sr. and Evangeline Adams Scott; and brothers, George and Calvin.
A celebration of life service was held February 23 at Covenant Funeral Home, Fredericksburg. Interment was at Lebanon Baptist Church, Alfonso.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
