WEEMS—A slight breeze circulated throughout Historic Christ Church as a crowd sang “America the Beautiful” at the 26th annual Memorial Day Commemoration sponsored by the Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (NNMOAA) and the Foundation for Historic Christ Church.

“O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife, who more than self, their country loved and mercy more than life,” the congregation sang.
