More Master Naturalists graduate in the Northern Neck

In December 2023, a new class of Virginia Master Naturalists graduated from the Basic Training Course (BTC) hosted by the Northern Neck Master Naturalist (NNMN) Chapter. The graduates are are Joe Chirico, Andrea Levine, Robert Pagano, Vicki Kinsel, Tim Bradshaw, Molly Callaway, Mike Burns, Robin Didlake, Kathie Gilson, Joann Hoover, and Bill Hoover.

The intensive classroom and field training provides an overview of topics such as mammals, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, botany, geology, and the relationships within ecosystems, reported Anne Atkins. Classes are presented by local experts. 

Additionally, 40 hours of volunteer service and eight hours of continuing education are required annually to certify as….
