Northumberland County Circuit Court Report

HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, May 7, with the Hon. Charles S. Sharp presiding.

In the case of Brandi N. McGehee of Newtown, charged with three counts of probation violation on a felony offense, a bond hearing was set for May 21.

In the case of Winfield A. Bea of Heathsville, charged with an indecent act with a child as their custodian, the trial was continued to June 4.

In the case of Travis T. Hatton of Farnham, charged with grand larceny valued over $1,000 that is not personal property, a trial was set for July 16. Hatton also faces a misdemeanor charge of working without an operators license/violating contract regulations.

In the case of Keandre T. Moye of Warsaw, charged with four counts of distributing/selling for profit Schedule I/II drugs, the case was continued to May 28.

Louis P. Spencer of Warsaw pleaded guilty to second degree murder. He was sentenced to 30 years with 10 years suspended. He also pleaded guilty to statutory burglary and was sentenced to 10 years with 10 years suspended. He faces costs of $4,646.62 and will be placed on supervised probation upon release.

In the case of Mark A. Thompson of Callao, charged with five counts of distributing/selling for profit Schedule I/II drugs, a trial was continued to June 11.

In the case of David C. Wimer of Reedville, charged with three counts of deferred disposition violation, a bond hearing was continued to May 28.
