Officers association conducts remembrance

The Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (NNMOAA) presented the annual Memorial Day Commemoration Monday, May 27, at Historic Christ Church. Former Virginia Governor and Ambassador James S. Gilmore III addressed the crowd, emphasizing the sacrifice and dedication of service members. He referenced a framed portrait of a fallen serviceman that was a relative of his wife’s, remembering he was a soldier, a son, a brother and friend to many.
