Area Peebles stores will become Gordmans on March 17, and the apparel and home décor retailer will celebrate with a Grand Opening Brand Bash beginning at 9 a.m. The festivities will open with ribbon cuttings and follow with a $1,000 donation presented to schools in 17 store locations.
For the Kilmarnock store at 463 North Main Street, Lancaster High School will receive the donation. Gloucester High and Essex High also will receive $1,000 donations since the Peebles stores in Hayes and Tappahannock also will become Gordmans.
