RICHMOND—The Rappahannock Record received 17 awards, including six first-place wins, in the 2022 Virginia Press Association (VPA) News and Advertising Contest.
The Record competed in the VPA’s non-daily group three category, which includes newspapers in the 4,000 to 8,999 circulation range.
Newspapers across Virginia annually submit their best work in the VPA contest. The 2022 contest was judged by the Tennessee Press Association.
Awards were presented May 6 during a conference banquet at the Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa in Short Pump.
