RCCF releases annual report

WHITE STONE—The River Counties Community Foundation (RCCF) recently released its 2022 Report to the Community.

RCCF community impact grants helped fund sewer connections for middle- and low-income residents of Middlesex County; a state-of-the-art playground for the Lancaster Early Childhood Education Center; and a museum in Northumberland County to record the stories of African-American students who attended the Howland Graded School in the late 1800s and 1900s, reported regional director Lincoln Boykin.

Community impact grants totaled $1,040,791 through September 20, 2022, said Boykin.

RCCF’s success has been in part due to its affiliation with the Community Foundation for a greater Richmond (CFR). CFR provided credibility and support, he said.

From the outset, RCCF had access to sound policies and procedures, a legal structure and experienced staff, which enabled RCCF to focus on building charitable assets and supporting the non-profit community in Lancaster, Middlesex and Northumberland….
