Lancaster High School will host a VA Hoopfest Showcase Series on Saturday, December 23.
Eight varsity boys basketball teams will be represented, playing one game each, according to LHS athletic director Chuck Parrish.
Charles City will play Rappahannock in the opening game at 2:30 p.m. Surry County will play Essex at 4 p.m., Veritas Collegiate will play Northumberland at 5:30 p.m. and Lancaster will host Caroline at 7 p.m.
The Red Devils also will play over the holiday break in the Strasburg Classic, December 28-30. Lancaster will play at 3 p.m. on December 28 and at 7 p.m. on December 29 and 30.
