WEEMS—Richard A. Rose Jr., 81, of Weems passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was born on January 10, 1943, to Vivian Pearl and Richard Rose Sr.
Richard was a retired heavy equipment operator and concrete contractor. He was also a member of Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Weems.
Richard is survived by his son, Richard A. Rose III (Sharon Pelkey) of Weems; and a daughter, Cynthia Boswell (Dennis Metcalf) of West Point. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Emily Boswell (Devin Fox) of Guyton, Ga.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Wesley Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Weems.
