HEATHSVILLE—During a status hearing on Tuesday, March 21, trial dates were set for Tyrone N. Samuels of Heathsville, who is charged with first degree murder, abduction by force or intimidation, and aggravated murder during a rape.
Samuels was charged following a near week-long search for victim Area’L Smith, 28, after she went missing from a Claraville convenience store on January 12, 2022.
