Christchurch School director of athletics and co-curriculars, John Dehm, recently announced the soccer and football teams are in contention for state titles. 
The Seahorses soccer team advances to the semifinals of the VISAA Division 2 playoffs after hosting and defeating #7-ranked Norfolk Collegiate 2-1 at Nunn Field in the state quarterfinals on Monday.
The #2-ranked Seahorses will play the #3-ranked North Cross Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9 at City Stadium in Richmond. VISAA will charge $10 per person. Purchase tickets at SeatGeek.com
After hosting and defeating Covenant School of Charlottesville 65-34 in the semifinals of the VISFL Eight-Man Division 1 playoffs, the Seahorses football team advances to the championship game versus Virginia Episcopal School at noon, Saturday, November 11, at Dinwiddie Sports Complex in Sutherland.
