Season’s first snowfall

Workboats unload oysters in the snow at Greenvale Creek Marina Monday morning. Carroll Schwab counted 31 boats going out of Greenvale Creek at 6:30 a.m. The Northern Neck saw flurries off-and-on throughout the day as snow fell across much of the Commonwealth. Reported accumulation ranged from 0.2-inch in Roanoke to 2 inches in Bath County. Richmond reported an inch. Photo by Win Schwab
