Susan Robertson’s newly published novel, Cold As Ice, is sure to have readers on the edge of their seat as they immerse themselves in the steamy murder-mystery surrounding private investigator Isabelle Petersen and Caribbean Island resort owner Paul MacKenzie as they work together through physical tension to get to the bottom of MacKenzie’s brother’s death.
Robertson, the classified advertising manager at the Rappahannock Record, said despite Cold As Ice being her first published novel, she has been writing for years. She actually wrote the novel about 10 years ago, she said. Prior to the completion of her first novel, Robertson said she would compose a number of other pieces over the years, too.
