The Rev. Deacon Moncure joins staff at Christ Church

On April 19, The Rt. Rev. Susan Goff, Bishop Suffragan and Ecclesiastical Authority of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia, ordained Peggy R. Moncure to the Sacred Order of Deacons in the Episcopal Church.

The Rev. Deacon Peggy Moncure began her discernment five years ago at Ware Church in Gloucester County. Her formation included two years study in The Deacons’ School, reported the Rev. Stuart C. Wood, Christ Church Parish rector.
