IRVINGTON—With profound sorrow, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at age 97, Theodore Frederick “Ted” Jurkops, departed this world peacefully at home in Irvington after a long and full life.
He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Elaine Jurkops; father of Theodore Frederick Saunders; stepfather of Kathleen Marie Donovan and the late Stephen Thomas Donovan; grandfather of Andrew, Sean, Jonathan, Kevin and Maddie; and great-grandfather of Layla, Zoe, Hazel and Alex.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Ted, contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
