LITWALTON—Thomas Lee Towles Sr., 82, of Litwalton passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023.
Tommy Lee was born on June 1, 1941, in Lancaster County. He was always happiest when he was working on the land and was known best for planting rows as straight as a GPS before its invention. He was a longtime member of the Lancaster Moose Lodge.
Tommy Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee Towles and Lucy Carter Towles; his wife, Linda Towles; and his younger brother, Dandridge Carter Towles.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Lee Towles Jr., and his wife, Brenda; a stepson, Wayne Darrall, and his wife, Dawn; three grandsons, Russell Conley Jr. (Heather), and Eric and Collin Darrall; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Conley; and a friend, Joyce Lyles.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 22, at St. Mary’s White Chapel Episcopal Church. A reception immediately followed at the Lancaster Moose Lodge in Litwalton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Tommy Lee to the Lancaster Moose Lodge, P.O. Box 422, Lively, VA 22507.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
