During Lent, the 40-day season that mirrors Jesus’s 40 days fasting in the desert, a group at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will take the spiritual journey of reconciliation, described in Christ Walk Crushed: A 40-day Journey Toward Reconciliation, by Anna Fitch Courie and David W. Peters.
The group will travel the 88 miles (2.2 miles per day) that Jesus journeyed to Jerusalem in the last week of his life, said the Rev. Pilar Purnell, rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.
