LANCASTER—William H. “Bill” Wiley Sr., 79 of Lancaster passed away on November 7, 2019. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the Bethel/Emmanuel United Methodist Men.
He is survived by his youngest child, Chris Wiley; daughters-in-law, Marie Wiley and Karin Wiley; three grandchildren, Hannah Rodriguez, Joe Wiley and Brandon Wiley; eight great-grandchildren; brother, John “Bud” Wiley; and sisters, Martha Palmer and Betty Short.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ann Wiley; his wife, Charlotte E. Wiley; and his son, William H. Wiley Jr.
Bill was a very kind and compassionate man who always had a positive outlook on life. He was deeply committed to his family and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 16, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Lively. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
