LIVELY—William “Jerry” Scott, 79, of Lively passed away April 26, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Brown Callis Scott; daughters, Jerilyn Scott Bennett (Albert) of Georgia and Cheryl Scott Schroeder (Greg Lamberg) of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ansley Bennett, Cody Bennett, Preston Bennett and Benjamin Scott Schroeder; great-grandchild, Benjamin Bennett; stepson, Darel Callis (Donna) of Maryland; stepdaughter, Nicole Sanford (Bill) of Warsaw; step-grandchildren, Tristen and Collin Callis and Gus and Amelia Sanford; brother, Wayne Scott (Charlotte) of Maine; sister-in-law, Sharon Anthony (Doug) and brother-in-law, Billy Brown (Shari).
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Scott and Doris E. Jordan Scott; his brothers-in-law, Bernard Brown and Joe Brown; and sister-in-law, Betty Redeman.
Jerry retired with 25 years of service as a central office supervisor for Verizon. After retirement, he worked for Bank of Lancaster as a courier.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at Historic White Marsh Church, Lancaster. Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
