The Bethel-Emmanuel United Methodist Men on Monday, May 29, conducted their annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Over 100 veterans are laid to rest in the cemetery at Bethel UMC in Lively. Above, Gina Smart tolls the bell as a roll call of all the veterans’ names is read. Normally held in the church cemetery, the service was moved inside to the sanctuary because of inclement weather.
