The Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (NNMOAA) will present the annual Memorial Day Commemoration Monday, May 27, at Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.
The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with traditional and patriotic music by organist M. Wayne Hare and will continue with a formal observance at 11:30 a.m. led by master of ceremonies retired U.S. Army Maj. Edgar Doleman and the officiant, The Rev. Kimberly Glenn, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, reported Doleman who also is program chairman for the event. The keynote speaker will be former Virginia Governor and U.S. Ambassador James S. Gilmore III.
