The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN) recently acknowledged its outstanding members of the month.
The Northumberland County unit recognized Jayceon Diggs, 10, a fifth grader who is an excellent student at the Boys & Girls Club. When he grows up, he wants to be a professional soccer player in the position of goalie, he said. At the club, his favorite activities are football and soccer.
“I feel excited to be Youth of the Month and it makes me feel like I’ve been doing the right things and that I have been respectful,” said Diggs.
