WHITE STONE—Mayor Randy Reeves says it is a “no brainer” to piggyback on a proposed public safety records management system being considered by Lancaster County.
Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Martin Shirilla on January 6 discussed the system with the White Stone Town Council. He said the county’s board of supervisors will review the software proposal at a meeting this week and he is hoping the county will approve it at a January 27 meeting and Lancaster can enter into a contract with CentralSquare in February. The software system will allow for easy sharing of data with Kilmarnock and White Stone police departments and with the sheriff’s office.
“This will help everyone across the board,” said Capt. Shirilla.
